If you pay attention to changes in society, then you will know that "Labor is changing!" The needs, values, and ways of thinking of labor are shifting. In this issue we will examine why and how much labor is changing, and where it is headed.
We will discuss the soon-to-be established Commission of Labor, and what it will mean to workers, in "Countdown Time to the Commission of Labor."
We also visit with Premier Yu Kuo-hwa on the occasion of the beginning of his fourth year, and explore how he has maintained an even keel during the last three turbulent years, and how he will face even more difficult future challenges.
And we will look at this July's planned Lions Clubs International convention which will bring 40,000 participants, an hopefully a chance to take a place as a leading convention city, to Taipei.
