Red Leaves at Mingchi (Li Shengzhang)

The lake in Yilan’s Mingchi National Forest Recreation Area is embraced by mountains and primeval forest. In autumn, the gorgeous colors of the trees on the small islands here tug at our heartstrings. The area is known as the “Pearl of the Northern Cross-Island Highway.”
